Your host for this site is Bruce W. Gore.  I was a lawyer in private practice in Spokane, Washington for about 15 years, and now teach full time at The Oaks Classical and Christian Academy. Before obtaining my law degree (1986) from Gonzaga University School of Law, I taught theology, Bible, and related subjects at a Bible school in Spokane called Inland Empire School of the Bible (now, Moody Northwest).  My undergraduate degree is from Whitworth College, a private Presbyterian liberal arts college in Spokane.  In 1979, I completed work on a masters in Reformation and Puritan History at Eastern Washington University.

My studies in history had a major impact on my life.  Although born and raised a Baptist (a tradition for which I am grateful), my investigations of Reformation and Puritan thought, and especially that of Jonathan Edwards, led me to embrace the Reformed Tradition, and I have been a happily entrenched Presbyterian ever since.

I am a layman, but have always had a love and passion for teaching matters theological, historical, and biblical.  Many have expressed appreciation for these efforts, and I hope you will find these presentations to be useful food for your faith as well.  I have taught adult courses for some twenty years at First Presbyterian Church, Spokane, and some of the material that you will find on this site reflects those efforts.  I have also served on the adjunct faculty of Whitworth College for several years, teaching classes on Bible, ethics, and non-Christian religious movements (cults).

I sincerely appreciate having you here as a guest, and hope you will return as you are able.  I'd love to hear from you with any comments or suggestions you may have.  If you'd like to e-mail me, click here.

For the Kingdom,

Bruce W. Gore
